AIDA Blu 1/400

AIDAblu is one out of the four Sphinx-class cruiser ships operated by AIDA Cruises – AIDAsol, AIDmar, AIDAstella are the other three sister ships.
Her maiden voyage took place in 2010 and she is currently the record holder for the fastest English Channel crossing by a cruise ship.
Currently on a route from Madagascar to Venice through the Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Adriatic Sea with intermediate stopovers to Seychelles, Salalah, Aqaba, Haifa, Crete, Santorini, Corfu, Dubrovnik and Split .
The cruise ship is well equipped with plenty of facilities including restaurants, bars, theatriums and other wellness and recreational which her 2050 passengers can benefit from.

Model Details

The model is painted with an airbrush for a smooth finish. Color shades are selected after an intensive survey, taking into account the photographs of the original in various light conditions, cloudy or sunny, and from different angles to give an exact matching.
The kit is particularly detailed, considering the model is 400 times smaller than the real one. The extreme level of scale, detail and high number of pieces of the kit results to more than 200 hours of intensive and careful work. Construction is done in a way that ensures the robustness of the model and the perfect illustration of its shape.
