The Boeing F-15E strike eagle is a multi-role strike fighter designed in the 1980’s and currently the backbone of the strike fleet of US air force.
It is the strike version of the extremely successful air dominance fighter F-15C and had its baptism of fire in 1990 at the first Gulf war with the US air force.
Since then, it has participated to all major conflicts throughout the world used extensively by also the Saudi, Israeli, South Korean and Singaporean air forces.
